Lightweight proximity fire fighting boot, Silver & yellow, 100% waterproof, hand-laid, fire resistant rubber with safety toes, electrical hazard rated soles, bottom penetration resistance barrier, steel shank, and quick donning and doffing features.

UPPER FEATURES
Two Proprietary rubber compounds provide protection from radiant heat and resistance to fire and ozone. Vulcanized layered construction resists cracking and oxidation. Sturdy pull-on rubber loops for easy donning. Reinforced top binding. High abrasion resistance, natural rubber compound in yellow Diamond finish foxing (.080” thick) and toe guard (.065”).

SAFETY TOE
Steel treated with rust preventative coating and insulated with rubber sponge.

SHANK
Bend resistant, corrosion resistant steel alloy. Approximate dimensions 4” x .75” x .062” with double ribbed reinforcement.

STEEL MIDSOLE
One piece, performance steel alloy midsole. Unique, contoured stamping adds support and durability. Puncture resistance exceeds 270 lbs (1200N) as a component. Life tested to 1.5 million flex cycles.

INSERT
Removable, cushioned Breathoprene insole footbed adds breathability without skin irritation. Quick drying top fabric layer. Built-in heel cup and arch support for enhanced shock absorption and overall comfort.

OUTSOLE AND HEEL
Non-marking, black rubber outsole with built-in heel. Nail-less construction – high temperature adhesive used to adhere sole to upper. Proprietary compound with high traction and excellent abrasion resistance. Chemical and salt resistant.

INSULATION
Unique Polyurethane foam selected for proximity firefighting application. Insulation for toe, foot and leg.

LINING
55% Wool felt / 45% Poly felt lining.

HEEL COUNTER
.050” thickness for additional heel, lower body and back support.

BARCODING
Interleave (Code 39) 2 of 5 symbology incorporating serial number, boot size, and boot width. Symbology information also appears in written text in the English language. Serialized Barcoding will appear in the right boot of each pair as well as the outer packaging. Advanced Protective Tracking (APT) program compliant.
